These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aline dating platform, including our website at alinelove.in and our mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Aline Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Aline. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.
2. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@alinelove.in if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information on your profile.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users.
- Use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to access another user's account or circumvent any security measures.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with the Service.
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate any account that violates these standards, without notice.
4. Tokens and Subscriptions
Aline uses a virtual token system for certain features (e.g., sending icebreakers). Tokens and subscription plans are purchased through the Service and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
5. Content You Post
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, messages, profile text). By posting content, you grant Aline a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you post.
6. Intellectual Property
All software, design, trademarks, and content owned by Aline are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any matches or interactions will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aline and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aline and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via the app settings or by contacting support@alinelove.in. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at legal@alinelove.in.
